Tutorials to clone hard drive with free cloning software

Tips: before cloning the hard drive, make sure that the size of the target hard drive must be matched with the source drive that you want to clone from.

If you select “Copy Disk Quickly“, the target hard drive must be equal or larger than the used space on source drive;

If you select “Sector-by-Sector Copy“, the target hard drive must be equal or larger than the source drive.

Step1: Launch Aomei Partition Assistant Home Edition;

Step2: Select the source drive (here’s Disk 1). Then, right click it and select “Copy Disk”;

In the pop-up window, choose the method to clone hard drive;

In the next window, select a target disk (new hard drive).

In the “Edit Disk” window, you can select any copy option listed there;

Step3: Click “Apply” to save all the changes and the old drive was cloned to a new one.
